You have the option to refund transactions made by your members and supporters. However, there are two important things you should remember before refunding.
You need to have an available balance that covers the amount to be refunded.
Once a payout has been processed, it cannot be refunded.
How to refund a supporter?
Go to the dashboard and navigate to the Monetize section on the sidebar.
Now click on the Supporters option.
Search for the supporter you want to refund by entering their email ID or name.
Once you find the supporter, click on the ellipsis menu next to their name and select the "Refund" button.
A confirmation prompt will appear. Click on "Confirm" to proceed with the refund.
How to refund a member?
Go to the dashboard, navigate to the Monetize section on the sidebar, and click on the Memberships option.
Search for the member you want to refund by entering their name or email and click on their name from the search results once you find it.
On the member's details page, locate and click on the "Refund" button.
A confirmation prompt will appear. Click on "Confirm" to finalize the refund.
After clicking "Confirm," the refund will be processed.
