Giving your potential supporters a way to chat with you before they buy something from your Shop is a great idea. It helps build trust because they get to talk to you first and clears up any confusion, making sure everyone's on the same page. In this guide, we'll show you how to turn on this feature and how your supporters can get in touch with you.

Steps to enable the messaging feature:

  1. Navigate to your Shop page and access the settings.

  2. Find the "Enable Contact" section, switch the toggle to ON, and save the changes.

How can supporters contact you?

  1. Supporters can find a contact icon at the bottom of your Shop page.

  2. By clicking on the contact icon, they'll be prompted to enter their email, name (optional), and their message.

  3. After filling out the form, they simply hit the send button to forward their message directly to your email inbox, where you can read and respond at your convenience.

Can supporters send attachments through the contact form?

Currently, the contact form only supports text messages. Attachments are not supported at this time.

How quickly should I respond to messages?

We recommend responding as soon as possible to maintain engagement and build trust with your supporters.

Can I see all past messages in one place?

Currently, messages are sent directly to your email, so you can manage them from your inbox.

What happens if a supporter doesn’t provide their name or email?

The email is required to send a message, but the name field is optional. If they leave the name field blank, you’ll only see their email.

Will my email address be visible to supporters?

No, your email address remains private. Supporters will communicate with you through the contact form, and their messages will go directly to your inbox without revealing your email.

Can I reply directly to the supporter’s email?

Yes, when you receive a message in your inbox, you can reply directly to the email address they used to contact you.

Can I block or filter messages from specific supporters?

Currently, there’s no blocking or filtering feature for messages. If you receive unwanted messages, you can choose not to respond.
