Ratings on Shop

Learn how to enable ratings for your Buy Me a Coffee shop.

Updated over a month ago

Your supporters can add ratings for the shop items they purchase. You can turn on this feature in the shop settings. When it is activated, customers can rate the item on a scale of 1 to 5 after the purchase.

How do you enable ratings on your shop?

  1. Go to the shop settings page from your dashboard.

  2. Turn the toggle next to "Display ratings publicly" on.

  3. Scroll down and save the changes.

How can a supporter add a rating?

After the purchase, supporters can rate the item. They can also rate the item later in case it's a physical item(which needs to be shipped) or they need some time to make a proper decision.

Why do you need a rating?

  • Enabling this feature lets you understand how much your supporters like the shop items they purchased. This feedback is valuable as it helps you improve and plan for future products.

  • Positive ratings serve as an endorsement, giving other potential supporters confidence in the item's quality. This could attract more supporters to make a purchase.
