Managing your Shop items on Buy Me a Coffee is simple. You have full control over whether you need to update prices, change descriptions, or remove an item from your listings. This guide will walk you through the steps to easily edit or deactivate your Shop items.

How to edit your shop item?

  1. Locate the shop item you want to edit.

  2. Click on the three-dot menu next to it.

  3. Click Edit and make the necessary changes.

  4. Once done, save the changes.

Did you know you can duplicate a shop item?

Use the Duplicate option to add multiple items with small changes in the description or price. It’s the easiest way to copy an item, tweak the details, and save time!

How to deactivate an item?

  1. Find the shop item you want to deactivate.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to it.

  3. Select Deactivate from the list.

  4. Click Confirm to finalize.

How to activate a deactivated item?

  1. Filter the shop items to the deactivated list.

  2. Locate the item you want to activate again.

  3. Click the three-dot menu next to it.

  4. Select Activate from the list.

Note: You can also delete or duplicate an item from this list.

What happens if I edit a shop item that someone has already purchased?

Any changes you make will only apply to future purchases. Previous transactions will remain unaffected.

Is there a limit to how many times I can duplicate an item?

No, you can duplicate a shop item as often as needed.

What happens to an item that is deactivated?

A deactivated item will no longer appear in your shop for supporters to purchase.

Can I edit the processing fee or transaction details?

No, processing fees and transaction details are system-generated and cannot be modified.

Is there a way to bulk edit the shop items?

No. Currently, items need to be edited one by one.
