How to update your payment card for a membership

Step-by-step guide to updating your card details for an active membership subscription or monthly support.

If your card has expired or you want to switch to a different card, you can update your payment details in a few steps. This applies to both kinds of recurring payments: your active memberships or monthly support.

  1. Log in to your Buy Me a Coffee account and go to: My Account β†’ Payments β†’ Memberships/Monthly support (choose the type of recurring payment you want to update the card details for).

  2. Find the membership/monthly support you want to update and click View details.

  3. In the pop-up, click Update next to Payment details.

  4. Enter your new card details and click Add to save. Your next renewal will be charged to the updated card.
