Your Buy Me a Coffee account can be accessed in a couple of ways. If you signed up with Google or Twitter, you may not have created a password when you first joined. You can add one anytime from your account settings.
If you already have a password, you can also change it whenever you need to. And if you’ve forgotten it, you can reset it using the email address linked to your account.
Steps to set a password for the first time:
Go to your dashboard and click My Account.
Scroll down to the password section.
Enter your new password and confirm it.
Click Save Changes.
Your password is now set, and you can use it to log in to your account.
Change your existing password
Already have a password but want to update it? You can change it from your account settings.
Go to My Account from the hamburger menu.
Scroll down to the password section.
Enter your current password.
Enter and confirm your new password.
Click Save Changes.
How to retain an account when you forget the password
If you're trying to log in but can't remember your password, use the "Forgot Password" option.
Click on the "Forgot Password" link and enter your email address and click on continue with email.
If an account with your email address exists, you'll receive a link to reset your password.
Log in to your email inbox and click on the "Set a New Password" button in the email you received.
You'll be taken to a password reset page where you can enter your new password and confirm it.
Once you've done that, click the "Reset Password" button.
Now your password is updated, and you can use it to log in to your Buy Me a Coffee account!
