A personalized thank you message, and video can show gratitude and deepen your connection with supporters. You can easily customize it with your own text and a heartfelt video note. Here’s a quick guide to help you personalize your thank you message and video.
Steps to Customize Your Thank You Message:
Log in to your Buy Me a Coffee account and click on the Supporters tab from the left-hand menu.
Under the Settings tab, scroll down to the Thank You Message section and click the Edit button.
Add your customized thank you text message in the provided space.
To add a video, click on “Add a video message.” You can record a video directly (the time limit is 1 minute).
Once your video is added, click the Preview message link to see how the text and video will appear to your supporters.
If you’re happy with your message and video, click Save to apply the changes.
Can I send video replies to supporters who have already made the payment?
Yes, you can do that. Go to your list of supporters, members, or customers from your Shop, pick the person you want to reply to and click the Reply button. Then, select Reply with Video and start recording your message. Keep in mind that the video limit is 30 seconds. Once you're done, hit the Post button.
Note: This feature lets you send unique video replies to different supporters.
Can I update or change my thank you message and video after I’ve saved it?
Yes! You can edit your thank you message or video anytime. Simply follow the same steps, make changes, and click Save to update the message.
Can I upload a pre-recorded video instead of recording one directly?
Right now, you'll need to record the video directly within the platform. There’s no option to upload pre-recorded videos.
What if I don’t want to add a video?
That’s perfectly fine! Adding a video is optional. If you prefer, you can stick to a text-only thank-you message.
