With the message feature on Buy Me a Coffee, you can send messages and emails to your supporters and members. They can also send you messages. However, we respect your privacy and let you decide if supporters can message you right away or only after you've started the conversation.

Log in to your account dashboard and navigate to the Message feature.
Click on the settings icon located at the top right corner.
From the dropdown list, select your preferred option.
No, only if I message first - If you don't want your supporters to start a new conversation, you can choose this option. It means neither your supporters nor members can reach out to you through direct messaging unless you initiate a conversation.
Yes, my supporters can message me - When you enable this option your supporters and members when logged in, can contact you using the message widget on your page.
Once you've made your choice, click the save button.
